We are so lucky to have a 'swimming hole' right around the corner. Well, it takes a few minutes but here where I live that is right around the corner.
It has been hot and humid here in Maine. Highs were expected to reach 90 in some parts. The water was cool, clean and refreshing. Today there were lots of people there.
The kids have so much fun jumping off of rocks, diving for mussels, and waiting for waves. It is a lake so the waves are not huge but when a boat goes by the waves get 'gigantic'!
It is so nice to just go down for a quick swim then come home and feel the breeze. Hopefully there will be a breeze.
